Childcare

We offer wrap-around childcare through our Breakfast Club and our new Stay and Play Provision.

These are aimed at helping parents access more childcare and work the hours they want. These are different from out-of-school activities, or school clubs, which are less frequent and can be a one-off activity.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club runs every school day from 8am until the start of the school day. Children have a choice of breakfast to help get them ready to learn. The Breakfast Club operates on the Bourges Boulevard site. A Teaching Assistant walks Reception and KS1 children to the Gladstone Street site in time for their register. As this club is a form of childcare, there is a small charge. The Academy will support with costs for those children who are pupil premium.

After-School Club (**Starts Monday 3rd March 2025**)

Our After-School Club offers childcare in a fun and supervised environment where children can relax and play! The club will focus on outdoor play using our OPAL resources. The club runs on our Bourges Boulevard site. A Teaching Assistant walks Reception and KS1 children to the Bourges Boulevard  site at the end of the day. Even if you don't need childcare, this is a fantastic opportunity for your child to be outdoors and play and explore with friends, away from screens and devices.
